What do you say?

So many upsetting things have happened these past few weeks that it's hard to smile. It started a few weeks ago when someone very special to me decided that they were the only person that mattered anymore. This person has deeked out of their responsibilities to family and basically announced they no longer feel it necessary to comminicate with them. Its hurtful to their entire family and I feel a bit caught in the middle as I am close to all involved and don't know what really happened to cause this, but feel a very strong need to make things better in anyway I can.
A friend of Franks who battled cancer for the past 5 years passed away yesterday. He was origionally given 5 months to live and beat the odds by hanging in for 5 more years. He was a special man and will be remembered fondly by all who hand the great pleasure of knowing him.
Amongst the usual trials and tribulations life throws at us, we have the day to day tasks that are usually calming and plesant, but these days, the silver lining on the cloud is pretty tarnished and I feel the need to break out the Braso!
Hope everyone is doing well!

Krista, I'm sorry to hear about Frank and your loss. Cancer is a beast. Take time to reflect on this person's life and the joy they brought to you. Celebrate having had them in your life, even for a little while.

As for the change of heart someone has undergone...
If you meet someone whose soul is not aligned with yours, send them love and move along. Dr Wayne W. Dyer.

Be happy for the joy you had, and don't beat yourself up for the early loss of that friendship. People change for reasons we don't always understand.

I hope you have a fabulous last weekend of the summer '08...autumn is just around the corner. Go take some awesome photos for us to enjoy!
